This 100-year old center hall farmhouse was a renovator’s dream when we purchased it in 1997, mostly untouched by the owner for 35 years. Peeling away layers of old carpeting, we discovered three stories of pristine southern heart pine floors. After replacing, adding and removing rooms, we slipped a flagstone patio under the sleeping porch. The additions complement the original house design. Materials were chosen for their compatibility with the original. Gardens and landscaping were added on all sides, including wrought iron entry gates and flagstone paths and a striking selection of flowers and shrubs.
